The Workroom Opportunity Board is also subject to additional terms. Organizations purchasing or submitting an opportunity must agree to the Opportunity Board Posting Terms.

This website is provided for informational, professional, and business purposes.

Consulting Inquiries and Services

Submitting a contact form, consultation request, assessment, questionnaire, or other website form does not create a consulting or client relationship with The Workroom.

A consulting relationship is created only through a separate written agreement between The Workroom and the applicable client.

Consulting engagements are governed by the applicable Master Services Agreement, project proposal, engagement letter, statement of work, or other written agreement.

If these Terms conflict with a signed agreement governing consulting services, the signed agreement will control with respect to those services.

User-Submitted Materials

You represent that you have the right to provide any information, documents, images, logos, or other materials you submit through the website and that your submission does not violate another person's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights.

Additional terms apply to materials submitted for publication on the Opportunity Board.

The Workroom Opportunity Board

The Workroom operates an Opportunity Board through which organizations may publish approved employment, consulting, project-based, board service, and other professional opportunities.

The Opportunity Board is a publishing platform. Unless The Workroom and an organization separately agree otherwise in writing, The Workroom is not acting as:

• An employer

• A staffing agency

• A recruiting agency

• An employment agency

• A placement service

• An applicant tracking system

• An agent of the organization posting the opportunity

• An agent of any individual viewing or applying for an opportunity

Organizations purchasing or submitting listings are subject to the separate Opportunity Board Posting Terms.

Candidate Applications

Unless a particular opportunity expressly states otherwise, candidates do not submit applications to The Workroom.

Opportunity listings may direct users to an employer website, applicant tracking system, third-party application platform, email address, or other application destination controlled by the organization posting the opportunity or its service provider.

​

Once you leave The Workroom website or submit information directly to a third party, that organization's or provider's terms, privacy practices, security practices, and procedures apply.

The Workroom is not responsible for third-party application systems, employer communications, interview processes, hiring decisions, board-selection decisions, contracting decisions, or data-handling practices.

No Guarantee Regarding Opportunities

The Workroom does not guarantee or independently verify every statement contained in an opportunity listing.

Publication of an opportunity does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee of the organization, opportunity, compensation, working conditions, engagement terms, or outcome.

Individuals are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before providing personal information, interviewing, accepting employment, entering a consulting arrangement, or accepting a board position.

Suspected fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate postings may be reported to The Workroom.

Accounts and Website Features

Certain features may allow users to create an account, save opportunities, manage preferences, or receive alerts.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or using an account.

This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from The Workroom's gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
